My First Semester as a Secondary School Stundent

A new year, a new beginning. I guess that's kinda through this year unlike the other years when life just went on and on. This year, its slightly different, its my first year as a Student of Hwa Chong (not because I transferred or anything, in case you don't know me, I'm not sure how you're suppose to get transferred into Hwa Chong anyway). Its my first year as a Secondary School student and it was cool.

First and foremost, there were no girls~! WOOTZ. No irritating... people to talk loads of random and crappy stuff that irritates the... life out of me. However, I realised that there are people just as annoying. I shall not state the name of the people as I know that many of you readers should know. If you do not, allow me to give you a hint: 1518. If you still don't know, I assume you're not from class 1I1 of Hwa Chong Institution High School Section of Singapore of Planet Earth of the Milky way of the 3D dimension... If so, stop reading, you won't understand loads of thing.

The first semester as a Secondary School student passed rather quickly, with cool things such as random jokes and stuff from our classmates. I really enjoyed the rather class disturbances (to an extent) but it gets annoying when it keeps repeating. Its really cool how life can actually be so bright despite the ominously stacked up piles of homework and stuff the teachers have for us. Haha, I guess life can't be all bad.
Despite the huge amounts of homework we get once in a while (I mean, loads of times), we still get some homeworkless days once in a while, mainly on Mondays. I love Mondays, I have nothing to stay back for and there are little lessons; the only lessons on Mondays are Chinese, English and History and double assembly. Last term, it was some other lessons but I can't really remember.
It amazes me that I am actually enjoying time in school in general. I didn't think I would until I got used to the late nights and early mornings. Its quite cool though, I once finished my work at around 12am and took my bath only then, cool isn't it?
Some of the subjects rock too, like IS and Science :D
Finally, I hate- I simply hate- spending about an hour to get back home from school and arriving home at 3pm on Mondays and Tuesdays and 7.30pm on the rest of the school days.

Future plans now... I don't really have much expectations for the future, probably because I never really had much expectations for anything I do. However, I do hope that:

  1. The class can be better in terms of academic performance
  2. The class can improve in terms of conduct
  3. There would be less tension within the class
  4. Less people interrupting IS (ARGH!!!)

I know life is not always what we want it to be but I guess we have to get used to it. We do, after all, have to spend the next three and a half years of our lives this way, excluding the JC years and everything else. We might as well live it to the best, though:
