Math, the awesome subject

It really amazes me what Math can teach us.

Just today, Mr. Tan was going through a Math problem with us; it was a question regarding Algebra and linear equations and such. He asked us which term we should "bring over" and he started talking to us about how the problem would be more difficult/complicated if we brought the wrong term over.
Here's when the magic happened. Mr. Tan soon began speaking of life; he told us about how a wrong decision could result in our lives turning bad and stuff. Negative signs, being the reason why the problem would have become more complicated, was said to be Obstacles in life. Although this was a rather short "speech", it was rather interesting in a way.

I am currently awed at how anyone can turn Math into Philosophy or whatever it is, it surely is unexpected.
Another unexpected event was when I asked Tsun Lok (did I spell your name correctly?) about the event, or when he talked to me about it, he said that Mr. Tan had also said something similar in his class. Maybe he prepared this for every batch of Secondary Ones, or maybe he prepared it yesterday XD
