NPCC

04/03/09- We did some knot stuff and then had a lecture about the history of NPCC. After that, we had a short soccer tournament. I was the goalkeeper and I was noob at it. I let the other team win 3-0 once but I guess that can't be helped. It was rather interesting though, at least my team mates did not take it too badly, they merely said, "Wow, you rock!"
Its sarcasm obviously, I usually hate it but sometimes its rather funny.
06/03/09- It was really fun today! We played war games and had some freaky stuff done.
We started with a video of the "3 Gods" fighting. There were 3 teams and each wore different combinations of attire, which I am too lazy to state.
Anyway, the game was played like this:
1) Each team chooses a commander and sets up a stronghold within their territory (we used the whole school, each team took a part of the school). The commander is to stay in the stronghold. The stronghold moves to where ever the commander moves to.
2) How to win: Get the most points.
We start with with 1000 points and gain/lose points to try and win.
3) How to get points:
Get flags (+1000), flags are in enemy territory, hints are given at the start of the game together with a basic map.
Kill Others (+500), killing means ripping the strip of paper on someone's wrist off.
4) How to lose points:
Commander gets killed (-10000), Commander has 4 lives, each time he loses a life, the team loses 2000 points. When all lives are gone, the team loses another 2000 points (total of 10000 points lost)
Revive (-500), revives a guy from the dead.

The yellow and red team formed an alliance as the blue team was extremely powerful. However, Yellow kept backstabing us and taking our kills.
Then the Yellow Team cheated and hid their commander's ballons (lives) all over the place, so we thought the commander was killed but he wasn't.
The red team (my team) also cheated slightly. The commander hid himself in a toilet cubicle but the the enemy climbed into the cubicle and killed him (if I am not mistaken).
Also, we were bombarded by water bombs during the game.
At the end of the game, during photo taking, our seniors poured a whole bucket of water on the winning team, soaking all of them.
Then our seniors did the same to the organising Secretary of the game (one of our Sirs/Seniors).

Overall, this week was rather enjoyable. The only weird thing that happened during NPCC happened today when the Sirs thought I was absent from training as one of our Sirs did not take my attendance. I believe he missed it but that can't be helped, really.
