Age, experience. These words are usually linked.
Age, experience. Why are these things important?
Age, experience. How do these affect how well you do?
Well, the answer is simple. With age comes experience and experience is the thing that actually helps when it comes to doing things.
Even with knowledge, one might not be able to know certain things that must be done. Even with knowledge, one might not have what it takes to do something.
Even with knowledge, one might not be able to do something as well as someone with both knowledge and experience.
How does experience help?
Experience allows one to know how to do something. Even without knowledge, one can gain it through experience. But experience cannot be gained with knowledge.
Over time, experience allows one to learn about things that others cannot teach. It allows one to becomes more adept at the certain activity or work.
Lets take an example:
A newly recruited chef will most likely to be unfamiliar to some of the things about the dishes. Such as how much salt to add, how much of this ingredient etc. Whilst a mre experience chef would be able to add just the correct amount of the certain ingredient without much hesitation. These are the little things that no one can teach you, and can only be gained through experience.
